CompuDAS Autoclave Controls AeroSoft is pleased to provide the CompuDAS Sentinel™ Control and Data Acquisition System. CompuDAS is in its 25th year producing ultra reliable data acquisition and control systems. The basic system can replace the existing control systems for either three ovens or an autoclave, depending on the instrumentation counts. The cost variations depend on start-up support time and/or number of channels of data to be acquired. Simplified block diagram of the stand alone Sentinel system:
An operator PC, usually customer supplied, provides for recipe creation, recipe recall, process monitoring, data file archiving, report generation, and operator high level control. The PC also provides an optional connection to your network and a means for CompuDAS to provide remote support by phone. All control and data acquisition is provided by the Sentinel. The Sentinel is a stand alone system that does not require the PC to control the vessel. The PC will be configured so that you will be able to monitor a process remotely by network or phone connection. A data file for each process will be created on the PC to be used for reporting and calibration purposes. The Sentinel Model SG-5 is proposed. The SG-5 is highly expandable beyond the baseline I/O channels for large installations. The SG-5 can be supplied on a sub-panel for mounting in your cabinet or can be supplied in its own interconnect enclosure. For this proposal, dedicated cabinets (24x30X8) are included. The proposed systems include complete application software. A users manual showing operator screens and software features will be available next Tuesday at the SAMPE show for your review. The SG-5 summary of I/O and features follows.
The Sentinel is a standalone system with a resident real-time multi-tasking operating system and high level language. Flexibility is almost unlimited. The software is very solid. A companion PC is used for the operator display only; the PC has no effect on a process. The proposed system includes a high level of system engineering support. Compatibility with your existing hardware will be verified by a review of all interface circuits. Existing lamp displays, switch functions, and alarms can be retained. A CompuDAS engineer will inspect the installation and perform system testing and operator training at your facility.
Delivery
is typically 30-60 days after receipt of order. Terms are net 30, FOB Renton, WA. The proposal does not include repairs or upgrades relating to the mechanical aspects of the autoclave or ovens. Additional equipment repairs, instrumentation, certification and upgrades can be provided by AeroSoft and will be quoted separately. Travel expenses within 100 miles of Seattle, WA are included.
